Deepening Regional Digital Cooperation: SCO Forum Signed Projects Embark on a New Journey in Almaty
To effectively implement the significant cooperative achievements reached at the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Digital Economy Forum, Chinese entities held a grand unveiling and launch ceremony for key projects signed at the forum on August 8th, coinciding with the opening of the HOMETECH&ELECTRA exhibition in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
The ceremony marked the first fruitful results of the 2025 SCO Digital Economy Forum, which was successfully held in Tianjin, China, a month ago. During the forum, all parties focused on development opportunities in the digital age and reached a series of forward-looking and pragmatic cooperation agreements. The project unveiled in Almaty is one of the key projects signed during the forum. Its efficient implementation fully demonstrates the shared will and strong execution capabilities of the SCO member states to deepen cooperation in the digital economy and accelerate project implementation. As one of the 16 signing companies at the forum, Xingbang Pipeline held an unveiling ceremony witnessed by many important guests, including Maxim Nikolayevich Rozin, a member of the Mazhilis (lower house) of the Kazakh Parliament, and Zoldihan Sanat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kazakh National Agency for Innovation and Development (QazInnovations).
