Process Flow
Surface Pre-treatment: Steel pipes undergo shot blasting for rust removal, achieving an Sa2.5 cleanliness level and a surface roughness of 50–100 μm.
Medium-frequency Heating: Steel pipes are heated to 200–240°C to provide the temperature required for powder melting.
Electrostatic Spraying: High-voltage electrostatic spray guns apply epoxy powder evenly to the pipe surface; the powder melts and levels out upon heating.
Curing and Cooling: After the coating cross-links and cures, it is water-cooled to set, forming a continuous protective film.
Finished Product Inspection: Inspections include thickness measurement, holiday detection (spark testing), and adhesion testing; products are released only after passing these checks.
