To thoroughly implement laws and regulations regarding safe production, reinforce safety awareness among all personnel, and enhance emergency response capabilities, Xingbang Pipeline convened a company-wide conference on production safety and fire prevention. The company's leadership team, heads of all departments, and the entire workforce gathered together, centering their efforts on the core themes of "solidifying safety responsibilities, disseminating safety knowledge, and enhancing emergency preparedness." Their objective was to forge a new safety management paradigm characterized by "profound mindset, clear responsibilities, and robust skills." At the outset of the conference, the host led the assembly in reciting the company's vision, core values, and mission. This resounding declaration placed "safety" at the absolute forefront of the company's development agenda, instilling the ideological imperative to steadfastly uphold safety bottom lines and clearly defining the core principle that "safety is the prerequisite for development; development must never come at the expense of safety."
Drawing upon the specific characteristics of the pipeline industry, the Safety Officer presented a report on recent safety inspections, directly addressing potential risks identified in production workshops-including equipment checks, material storage practices, and electrical safety protocols. Introducing a hazard management mechanism based on "three daily checks, weekly reviews, and monthly assessments," the officer emphasized: "Pipeline manufacturing involves inherent risks related to high pressure and flammability; any oversight could trigger an accident. Therefore, the imperative to 'prioritize safety at all times and in all matters' must be translated into concrete action."
In their respective addresses, the Production Manager and the Plant Director focused on the critical theme of "implementing responsibilities." They pointed out that safe production necessitates the establishment of a responsibility framework characterized by "universal participation and accountability at every level"-meaning that everyone, from senior management down to frontline employees, bears a share of the safety responsibility. Based on the company's specific operational context, they outlined the key priorities for safety work in the upcoming phase: refining the safe production responsibility system to clearly define safety duties for every position; conducting regular safety training to elevate the safety literacy of the workforce; intensifying supervisory inspections and maintaining a "zero-tolerance" policy toward safety violations; and strengthening the emergency management system through periodic emergency drills. They called upon all employees to approach their work with a profound sense of responsibility-a mindset of "constant vigilance and unwavering concern"-and to integrate safety responsibilities into every task and every minute detail of their daily operations.
General Manager Qiu Xiaoxia delivered the concluding remarks, emphasizing the paramount importance of safe production from a strategic perspective. She affirmed that Xingbang Pipeline consistently places the safety of its employees' lives and property above all else, regarding safety as the bedrock of the company's sustainable development and the ultimate safeguard of its brand reputation. She encouraged the entire workforce to seize this conference as an opportunity to collectively fortify the company's safety defenses. During the latter half of the meeting, the Safety Specialist-drawing upon the *Regulations on Social Fire Safety Education and Training*-provided instruction on preventive and response measures for scenarios commonly encountered in pipeline enterprises, such as oil and gas leaks and electrical fires. In the practical training session, the specialist demonstrated the "Lift, Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep" method for using dry chemical fire extinguishers, as well as the proper procedures for operating fire hydrants. He emphasized key precautions for combating liquid fires and underscored the strict rule against fighting fires on live electrical equipment. Subsequently, all employees participated in hands-on practice sessions in small groups to ensure that every individual achieved proficiency in these skills.
Moving forward, Xingbang Pipeline will further deepen its safety management efforts and establish robust, long-term mechanisms. By adhering to stricter standards and implementing more pragmatic measures, the company aims to fortify its safety defenses and safeguard its high-quality development.
