The installation precautions for PP-R insulation pipes are as follows:
1. The connecting surfaces of pipes and fittings must be kept dry, clean, and oil-free.
2. When cutting pipes, the end face must be perpendicular to the pipe axis. Pipe cutting generally uses pipe scissors or pipe cutting machines, and if necessary, a sharp hacksaw can be used. However, when cutting pipe sections, burrs and burrs should be removed.
3. The fusion part between the electric fusion pipe fittings and the pipe should be kept free from moisture.
4. The hot melt tool can only be operated after the power is turned on and the green indicator light is on when the working temperature is reached.
5. When heating, guide the pipe end into the heating sleeve without rotation, insert it to the marked depth, and at the same time, push the pipe fitting onto the heating head without rotation to reach the specified mark. The heating time should be carried out according to the instruction manual of the welding tool.
After reaching the heating time, immediately remove the pipe and fittings from the heating mold at the same time, and quickly and evenly insert them in a straight line without rotation to the marked depth, forming a uniform flange at the joint.
Within the specified time, the newly fused joint can still be corrected, but it must not rotate.
Wrap raw material tape around the plug thread to prevent water leakage, and then tighten the plug.
8. Seal all plugs and use a pressure testing pump to measure the water pressure of 8-10mpa. After half an hour, check the pressure gauge. The normal situation is that the water pressure drops by 0.05mpa, which is considered qualified. If it is not qualified, it is very likely that there is a problem with the pipe material or there is leakage in the pipe connection.
